arkhé
In Greek, arkhé is the origin — the elemental first cause from which all things proceed.
For us, that origin is fire. Wood. Embers. Hands. The dishes that follow are seasonal answers to a single, ancient question.

Jake Kellie
From the NSW Central Coast through Aria, The Ledbury, and The Fat Duck. Made his name as head chef at Burnt Ends in Singapore — earning a Michelin star and a place at No. 53 on the World's 50 Best.
Named San Pellegrino Young Chef of the Year for Southeast Asia. Came home in 2021 to open arkhé on The Parade — Adelaide's first open-flame restaurant.

arkhé × Restaurant AG
Martin Kjäll of Stockholm's world-renowned Restaurant AG, in the arkhé kitchen.
A short list. Worth a moment.
“The joys of arkhé are the unconventional ways in which chef Jake Kellie embraces the flame.”
“Main character energy comes from a three-and-a-half-tonne wood-burning oven that sizzles everything.”
“May be the most anticipated of Adelaide's new openings.”
